Façade elements

The façade is an element that gives a final touch to the exterior of the building and at the same time influences its functionality, since it may provide insulation or fire-proof protection. Façade elements therefore offer a variety of choices and provide an innovative, dynamic design and overall safe solution for all types of buildings.

Fireproof façade panels

ARMATERM FP

Fireproof ARMATERM FP façade panels are distinguished by their insulation core made from non-flammable mineral wool. The panels are made of two profiled, hot zinc-coated and coloured metal sheets (double sided low profile). The 35–200mm thick insulation core is made from mineral wool (Grade A1 fireproof).

Purpose:

  • thermally insulated façade panels,
  • inner lining.

You may choose from several types of panel surface:

  • smooth,
  • micro-lined,
  • semi micro-lined and
  • V-shaped.

Fireproof ARMATERM FP façade panels are distinguished by:

  • fireproof characteristic,
  • load bearing capacity between supporting structures,
  • elegant design (hidden bolt joints),
  • wide colour palette and surface profiles,
  • excellent insulation characteristics,
  • anti-corrosion protection,
  • simple installation.

Insulated façade panels

ARMATERM FR

ARMATERM FR façade panels are lightweight construction panels offering excellent thermal insulation. They are made from two profiled metal sheets (double sided low profile, zinc-coated and coloured steel metal sheet) and an inner core made from 45–200mm self-extinguishable polyurethane foam (B1 according to DIN 4102 – flame retardant) with high insulation.

Due to their composite joints and specific thickness, the panels are also suitable for manufacture cooling chambers.

  • modern thermally insulated façade panels and
  • inner lining of:
    • partition walls,
    • ceilings,
    • cooling chambers,
    • deep freeze chambers

ARMATERM FRM

ARMATERM FRM façade panels are lightweight construction panels offering excellent thermal insulation. The panels are intended for the construction of superior thermally insulated façades and inner linings of a higher standard.

They are made from two profiled metal sheets (double sided low profile or micro-lined, zinc-coated and coloured steel metal sheet) and an inner core made from 60, 80, 100, 120 or 170mm thick self-extinguishable polyurethane foam (B1 according to DIN 4102 – flame retardant) with high insulation.

Roof coverings

The roof coverings are constantly exposed to various environmental influences; therefore, they must at the same time offer maximum protection of the building. Roof coverings must therefore be distinguished by quality materials, high functionality and a long life span.

Fireproof roof coverings

ARMATERM SV

ARMATERM SV roof coverings are lightweight construction panels insulated with non-flammable mineral wool. The roof coverings are intended for the construction of thermally insulated roof coverings and façade panels. SV panels are used for roofs with a pitch greater than six degrees.

Panels are made from two profiled, hot zinc-coated and coloured metal sheets (high outside profile and low inner profile) and an insulation core made from mineral wool (Grade A fireproof).

Armaterm SV roof coverings are distinguished by:

  • fireproof characteristic,
  • high self-supporting capacity,
  • insulation and anti-corrosion protection and
  • simple installation on concrete, steel, wooden and other constructions. 

ARMATERM PP

ARMATERM PP are 0.6mm thick panels made from high corrugated profile (profile 4, 5 and 6) metal sheets and deep profile, zinc-coated and coloured metal sheets.

They are intended for cladding carports, construction of non-insulated façade panels and covering of buildings with a natural ventilation system through roofs and façade walls.

Insulated roof coverings

ARMATERM SO

ARMATERM SO roof coverings are 0.6mm thick panels made from high corrugated profile (profile 4) metal sheets with 15 and 20mm spray polyurethane foam insulation. The inner side of the panel is lined with aluminium foil. The panels are suitable for roof coverings with a pitch greater than six degrees.

The spray polyurethane foam insulation prevents condensation on the bottom of the metal sheet and increases the self-supporting capacity of the panels; therefore Armaterm SO roof coverings are suitable for cladding residential buildings and buildings without heating.

ARMATERM SR

ARMATERM SR roof coverings are panels made from high corrugated profile (profile 4) and low inner profile steel metal sheets lined with highly insulated, self-extinguishable polyurethane foam (B1 according to DIN 4102 – flame retardant). The insulation layer is 30–120mm thick, and in addition the insulation is further increased with additionally sealed joints.

The panels are suitable for the construction of modern thermally insulated roof coverings with a pitch greater than six degrees and high-quality façade panels.

  • good insulation properties,
  • excellent anti-corrosion protection and
  • simple installation.

Flat roofs

Flat roofs are without doubt unique and diverse, and provide interesting design options. While on the one hand providing an infinite number of installation options, on the other hand they have very high and specific requirements in terms of insulation and sealing.

The quality of installation determines the roof’s life span. They allow considerable freedom of construction, and offer practical advantages, such as the construction of a terrace or grassing the surface, improving the attractiveness of the facility’s exterior.

Any such increase of the area already in the construction process or during the renovation provides additional accommodation and living space, while providing first-class comfort in the interior by making optimal use of the space and improving the ambient climate.

The flat roof due to its function becomes the most important element of the facility, being the most exposed to climate and physical impacts. When laying the roof it is important to consider the latter (shrinking and contraction of the construction, subsidence, vibrations of the facility, temperature changes and humidity). Accordingly, it is necessary to use building materials from verified manufacturers, comply with professional guidelines and the execution of all details.

Vapour barrier

Vapour barrier is a foil which prevents the penetration of water vapour from the facility through the roof into the layer of thermal insulation against the process of waterproofing. This is a mandatory functional layer for flat roofs. It prevents thermal insulations from becoming wet, or minimizes wetting as much as possible, while preventing structural damage.

Thermal insulation

Heat is lost through flat roofs at a rate of at least 20%. Thermal insulation not only reduces the consumption of energy required for heating, but also protects the construction against excessive activity while providing optimal microclimatic living conditions inside the building. With non-insulated or under-insulated roofs, there is a greater likelihood of condensation forming on the inside surface of the roof.

It is recommended to install thermal insulation on flat roofs with high pressure resistance, low heat conductivity, minimal water absorption and permanent resistance to higher temperatures.

Waterproofing foil

A waterproofing layer for a flat roof may be completely attached to the ground, partially attached or freely laid down with or without mechanical fastening.

It is a waterproof and uninterrupted diaphragm (foil) whose basic function is to protect all layers of the roof. It is exposed to external aggressions, such as: mechanical damage, deformation of roof panels, extreme temperatures, rain, snow, wind and UV rays. Therefore when it comes to waterproofing, selection of materials and professional installation are of the utmost importance.

Carport roofs

Carport roofs must offer high functionality and complete protection against various environmental influences, such as hail, rain, snow, sun, etc. Carport roofs must be constructed of high-quality materials with a long life span and maximum resistance to environmental influences.

It is also important that carport roofs are of an aesthetic design and appropriately blend in with the surrounding area and do not disfigure the building’s exterior, but contribute to the overall and complete appearance of the surrounding area.
